Getting started with ATPL

Learn how to start an ATPL study session, choose study or mock mode, answer questions, and return to completed sessions for review.

Open the study app and sign in, then use Study to create a session from the content available to your account. Public guides and knowledge articles are separate from your account’s question-bank access.

Choose your session

Go to Study and select the available content you want to practise. Use your training syllabus to decide which subject or topic to work on next.

If a bank is not available, check your account’s access rather than assuming that its questions are included.

Select a mode

  • Study mode: get correctness feedback as you answer so you can review your reasoning during practice.
  • Mock mode: answer without immediate correctness feedback, then review the completed session.

Answer and continue

Work through the session in order. Read each question carefully and submit your answer before advancing. When the app offers review material, use it to understand the reasoning rather than only remembering a choice.

Review completed sessions

Return to your dashboard to find completed sessions and follow your progress. Use the review to identify concepts to revisit in your training material.

Before starting again, choose one clear objective. The study planning guide gives you a simple routine, and the knowledge hub provides introductory concept explanations.
