ATPL.APP

About us

ATPL.app brings aviation theory explanations and pilot guides together, with question practice and study tools in development.

Understand the subject behind the answer

A correct answer is more useful when you can explain why it is correct. We are building ATPL.app around that idea: a place to work through aviation theory, connect the concepts and return to the subjects that need more practice.

Today, you can read our public Knowledgebase and Pilot Guides without an account. Question practice, mock exams and progress tracking are in development. Paid study access is not yet available.

Explanations you can work through

The Knowledgebase explains individual concepts, from pressure and altitude to heading, track and the forces in flight. Worked examples, diagrams and calculations show how the ideas fit together and where the assumptions matter.

Our Pilot Guides cover routes into training and the requirements for particular licences and certificates. Each guide identifies the jurisdiction it covers, so you can keep EASA, UK and FAA requirements separate.

A study routine built around review

The study tools we are developing bring question practice, completed-session review and progress into one routine. Study mode provides correctness feedback as you answer. Mock mode saves that feedback for your review afterwards.

The aim is to help you decide what to study next, with enough context to understand an error rather than memorise a replacement answer.

Independent resources for your training

ATPL.app provides independent study resources. We do not issue licences, conduct official exams or replace an approved training organisation. Our name does not imply approval by an aviation authority.

Use the material alongside your course and your instructor’s guidance. Check current requirements with the relevant authority before making a training decision. For flight planning and operations, use the approved manuals and current operational information for your aircraft and flight.
